Working at one of our branches
Welcome to the beating heart of KODi!
There may always be a lot going on at our KODi branches but our focus is always on our customers. Alongside the important routine tasks that are scheduled into the week like clockwork, there are always special jobs and promotional activities to take care of too. No working day is the same! Our working hours are a bonus too since KODi branches don’t ever open super early or super late. The opening hours tend to be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (with the exception of shops in shopping centres).
We have a whole range of jobs available at our branches, including a few hours on the shop floor, part-time work on the tills and full-time employment as a store manager or assistant manager.
It should come as no surprise that we’re keen on training up our staff here at KODi. We offer a two-year sales assistant apprenticeship, with the option of going on to complete full training in retail sales.
With a view to providing the staff in our shops with a nice place to work, we never stop investing in our existing branches. We upgrade shops in line with the latest store concept, add air-conditioning systems and streamline workflows by introducing digital solutions and state-of-the-art technology.

No two days are alike in retail and there are plenty of challenges for you to overcome – with the support of your team. As a store manager, you’ll be heading up your very own branch and making sure it hits its sales targets, whilst delivering outstanding customer service. It will be your responsibility to keep everything looking clean and tidy to give our customers the best possible impression of the KODi brand.
You will be leading, developing, coordinating and organising your team at the branch. Your to-do list also includes merchandise planning, cashing up at the end of the day, managing the warehouse, keeping on top of stock levels and taking care of all kinds of admin. And you’ll need to work closely and effectively with your regional manager every step of the way.
Our ideal candidate will have professional training, management experience within the retail or hospitality sector and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service behind them. We’re also looking for managers with a cooperative leadership style, a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work well as part of a team, an impressive work ethic, excellent communication skills and a trainer’s licence (although you may also have the opportunity to gain this whilst you’re working with us).
If you don’t quite tick all the boxes but are still convinced that you’re the right person for the job, please do go ahead and apply. We check carefully through every application to find the perfect match.
Does your CV include a business degree, specialist vocational training with a retail focus and first-hand management experience in a retail setting at any level? If so, you could be just the person we’re looking for to join us as a regional manager!
This role will put you in charge of around 16 branches employing 100 colleagues between them on average. You will be tasked with managing your stores and staff by keeping on top of the figures and developing your team through briefings and training in any relevant areas of the operation.
